Transitioning from high school to adult life is one of the greatest challenges facing individuals with Down syndrome and their families. The Joy of Downs believes that our adult children need opportunities to share their gifts and talents. Sharing strengthens all involved – the individual, families and the community.
From organizational leadership – to family camp counselors – to camp staff in all areas of camp services, young adults and adults with Down syndrome are an active part of everything The Joy of Downs does.
